            2019 Home Decor Trends

We can't believe it's already 2019! With new design projects in the works, we've been immersing ourselves in inspiration to come up with some great concepts for our clients. It got us thinking, "What are some design trends we expect to see this year?". After browsing the rabbit hole that is Pinterest, we came up with some of our favorite and noteworthy trends we'll be incorporating this year:

An artisan pendant light straight from our uber-stylish designers over in in Denmark. The beautiful mix of concrete and opaque edge creates an immediate focal point for any room.

We have always been keen to source products from local artists and small businesses. This year, we see many more people do this too, especially with lighting! Artisan fixtures personalize your home, and like natural elements, helps shifts homes focus from the tech world to the natural world.

            copper kitchen fixtures for 2019

Rose gold was one of 2018’s most used decor trend, yet for 2019 we are expecting to see less rose gold and more copper accents, along with a mixture of other metals. With its red and orange tones and overall earthy hue, copper is a much-needed breath of fresh air for the new year.

geometric wall decor ideas for nursery

Geometric designs have been around for ages, but they will be making a big comeback this year. Expect to see bold uses of shape and color with these sharp angles. We love how these wall pieces serve as little nooks to put pictures, plants, and cute statues.

            ikat wallpaper for bathroom

Wallpaper--yep, it's back. But better than ever. Nowadays you can customize and add removable wallpaper much easier than in the 1980s. We are all for jazzing up a room with a geometric, floral, or subtle design. In the image above, this gray ikat wallpaper is paired with gray wainscoting and a custom gray wood mirror,  and gold fixtures and pendant lights to warm it all up.
