Here are some easy ways to decorate your outdoor area for summer so you can enjoy it with friends and family:
1. Umbrellas or shade awnings.
Add hanging plants to Shepard hooks to add color and interest to certain area. Pre-potted plants at home stores make it easy to place plants where you want them and you're done! The options really are endless when it comes to decorative with flowers and foliage.
3. Versatile seating
An outdoor sofa is perfect for large families or if you plan on taking a few naps outside. A dining set with 4-6 chairs is great for smaller homes who wish to do a little bit of entertaining or have dinner parties. If you don't have room for more tables or chairs, consider some large sitting pillows.
If your furniture will be sitting in the direct sun, opt for light colored cushions or materials so they don't become too hot to sit on. Plus it won't be as obvious when the fabric starts to fade from the sun.

Having a permanent outdoor bar cart makes entertaining easier and more attractive! Add decorative elements like fresh flowers, fruit, and fun napkins to keep the party going.
This is almost a necessity in Florida! If the heat is what's making you stay inside, consider investing in a few fans to help cool down your patio. They are also great to help circulate air if your patio is enclosed. Even better if it's a misting fan!
